Galway is Ireland’s fifth largest city. Situated on the West coast it is a harbour city with an international feel. As a coastal town, seafood is in abundance and you will see the restaurant menus reflecting this. Surfing is a popular activity due to the excellent waves on the many beautiful beaches near Galway. The people of Galway are known for their love of the ‘craic’ and there are many fun festivals and activities in the city’s calendar.
