Commissioned by a manufacturer, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer in region Amsterdam. The role entails a specialization in all electro technical and instrumentation parts such as cabling, diameter, cable harnesses and PLC and Scada systems. The products are distributed worldwide and are used at coarse industry factories. For instance, at an oil and gas platform or at a port.

Your challenge:

A day in an Electrical Engineer’s working life

The design is made in a multidisciplinary environment in The Netherlands, with colleagues from the electrical and mechanical department. Consultation is an important part of your work. Eventually you will start with the request, make a calculation, and create the design and product specification list. The projects have a lead time of a few months. After an intensive preparation period, construction will be done abroad, and the machine is handled elsewhere for a while. The project manager will further guide the entire process.

Your experience

  • Vocational or Bachelor Education Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the heavy industry is a plus. The working method in this sector has common ground with oil and gas, and pharma. If you have experience with one of these industries, we invite you to apply.
