Your challenge:

  • Design and analyse a wide range of systems that operate in a marine environment. You will execute a wide range of analysis types ranging from basic hand calculations to fatigue analysis on mooring systems, spectral motion analysis, bollard pull calculations, design of mooring systems and preparing specs for innovative renewable energy solutions.
  • A wide range of physical interactions will be dealt with over time which may or may not require additional research to enable thorough understanding
  • The activities will at times be clearly defined and at times be less well formulated, looking for solutions and trying alternatives efficiently yet thoroughly is key

Your experience

  • To have the ability to create, generate and deliver detail.
  • Very strong analytical ability
  • Ability to use Matlab or Python to perform analyses and manipulate data
  • In-depth theoretical understanding of the pysics involved in marine operations
  • Understanding of the practicalities related to offshore operations
  • Being able to understand our client’s wishes, being able to see where and how we can best serve our clients
  • You are eager to get to the bottom and make sure we thoroughly understand the environment and systems we are working on
  • You seek for a position where initiative is stimulated and where your drive to be responsible for the end result is recognised.
  • Working for a relatively small company with a dedicated team may imply irregular working hrs and unconventional solutions, hopefully you will see this as a driver for your enthusiasm.
  • 3-5 yrs (Sr. 7+ yrs) (Jr. 0-3 Yrs) experience in as multi-disciplinary offshore engineer
  • University Degree (MSc. or higher)
